Kurloz Head - Unfinished by JemDragon
Kurloz Head - Unfinished
This started off as a Karkat head. But then I made it way to big for the body I made for Karkat. So then I had a round stuffed grey and black ball that kind of just hung out on my desk and was used as a pin cushion. Then I started messing with it (of course) and well, look what happened. He still needs a mouth. And body? Will work on body later.

I used and followed b00ts tutorials/patterns (thank you so much for the tutorials and patterns). Actually I started to use their tutorials and patterns but then it kind of deviated a bit? Had to make my own hair and horn patterns. The head pattern I used is the same they used, though I used 2 grey and 2 black pieces of micro suede, instead of 4 grey (I believe that how their Gamzee tutorial went, I'm following it as a reference, it is a really good reference). The micro suede paints really well actually. Horns are felt, hair is felt. Button eyes because office depo closed when I wanted to buy iron on stuff. Though I like the button eyes. Also didn't use any glue for him. I wanted him to be as soft and cuddly as possible, and from past experience with glue, it tends to make things crunchy and hard.

I really need help in how to do the mouth, I don't really have any good ideas for it. Well I have like 4 ideas, but this being my first doll I HAVE NO FREAKING CLUE ON WHAT TO DO OR WHICH IDEA TO CHOOSE. I mean...Should I embroider a mouth then put his stitches over? Should I sow on a felt mouth then stitch stitches over it? Should I just put stitches and no mouth? Should I paint (I would have to go buy more paint)/draw(permanent marker because I'm lazy) a mouth then put stitches? Do you guys have any other ideas?
Sakura Dragon by JemDragon
Sakura Dragon
I made this dragon for one of my roommates. She is an international student from Japan. It is her Christmas gift. :)
I used sculpey clay. The spines and flower are sparkly.
Wing span is 4", 2.5" tall, 2" long.
I am currently going to go through my art stuff. Some might be moved to a folder for old art, some might be deleted or put into scraps. I'm going to remake folders and stuff. Just wanted to update you guys. =] Also will be posting dragon statues and stuff soon.

Finished moving items into folders and scraps. Some were deleted. Also some new art was posted too. =]

Going to go through old journal posts and delete the nonsense ones.

Never mind, too many to go through

Decided to just delete all journals before this one. I found many of them were mostly blogging and rants, and tags, and random things that have nothing to do with my art. So they are now gone.

I do have a blog if you would like to read my random rants and stuff, it is this link:
My other blog is for art, it is this link:…

Hello, my name is Jinx. I like to draw, paint, and sculpt. I always love trying new things that deal with art. I just started a painting class for Acrylics. I haven't really been posting any art recently but I have a ton of it to put up. When I find my camera I will post them, because they are too big for my scanner by several feet or because they are sculptures. Hope you enjoy my artwork. Bye! =3
